May 5, 2013. Tagsibol, a spring classical concert. The event will take place at the Turbinezaal in "De Centrale" in Ghent and starts at 5 PM. The proceeds of the ticket sales will be used to launch a mobile library for children in the vicinity of Ligao City, Albay in Bicol. We celebrate the 19th International Assembly and Conference in an atmosphere of centenary anniversaries: The hundredth commemoration of the state burial of Jose Rizal at Luneta recently re-enacted; the 102nd anniversary of Doña Teodora Alonzo who died the year before her son’s official burial; the 102nd anniversary of the Order of the Knights of Rizal; the sesquicentennial birth anniversary of Andres Bonifacio and next year, the sesquicentennial birth anniversary of Maximo Viola, the close friend of Rizal who helped him publish his first novel, the Noli Me Tangere.
